Starting in August 2021, S&W Asset Management was established to combine the skills, expertise, and connections of Directors Andrew and Josh, with the objective of providing professional project management services.

The company is grounded in the values of putting people first and maintaining integrity always, with the goal of ensuring that people receive excellent care and have fulfilling careers.

Despite being in business for just a few years, S&W Asset Management has achieved significant milestones, including the opening of their office on River Street in July 2023.

  • Experience

The S&W Asset Management team is a culmination of experiences from all facets of the mining and resource industries. Andrew and Josh, with a combined experience of 30 years in the industry, possess vast knowledge across mining, ports, and construction. They can provide the required support for your next project or shutdown.

The S&W team specialises in providing a turnkey service for project management, which can be tailored to your needs, whether you need basic support or a comprehensive team to take your project from planning, procurement, execution, delivery, and handover.

  • Community Involvement

The team at S&W takes pride in their active involvement in the Mackay community. We regularly support charities such as the Mackay Children's Hospital, Endeavour Foundation Rally, blood centre donations, local sporting donations, and volunteering at local events. Our aim is to always support the local community where our people live and work. We believe that this is the foundation that builds long-standing communities.

  • ANDREW WILLIAMS

    DIRECTOR

    Andrew holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (honours) from CQUniversity and graduate certificates and qualifications in Project Management.

    Having graduated in 2010, relocated to Mackay and joined the G&S Engineering team for many years within their Major Shutdowns Team. After several years, Andrew progressed into construction with the Hay Point HPX Team and then the Grosvenor and Moranbah North Expansions. Since then, Andrew has worked extensively at Hay Point, project managing capital projects and major shutdowns.

    In his spare time, he enjoys getting out in the boat, fishing and cheering on the Broncos. Just don’t bring up the recent grand final.

  • JOSHUA SPITERI

    DIRECTOR

    With a post graduate certificate in Project Management, Joshua started working shutdowns in 2007 and hasn’t stopped. He has extensive experience on shovels, draglines and major CHPP shutdowns, in addition to experience working on ship loaders and dump stations. A key career highlight was the completion of the HPX3 expansion at Hay Point.

    Josh has four kids aged 11, 8, 6, and 4, and regularly takes them camping and crabbing. In his spare time he also loves competition shooting with the IPSC.

  • ESTELLE DAW

    SENIOR BUSINESS ADMINISTRATOR

    Estelle has extensive experience in many roles, including purchasing officer, vendor master specialist, contracts administrator, and project administrator, over a number of different project sites.

    Despite popular opinion, Estelle stresses that she is actually younger than her ‘Benjamin Button’ of a husband. She loves bad puns, and constantly makes her kids cringe with her mum jokes.
